Still waiting for the Kontrapunkt covers.

Mr. Willis of Ohio plans to release a 4 song 7". We are looking for a label (or several labels) who would be into releasing it. I can't do it myself at the moment, I'm too broke.

A fifth song might go on a split 7" with The Rabbit Theory, but that's still in th eplanning stages...10th of January, 2008
Got 50 copies of the HER BREATH ON GLASS / KHERE - CD. The 10" version is being pressed right now and should be here in a month or so.

We just got the tape version of the MR. WILLIS OF OHIO - one-sided 12". Absolutely amazing handmade cloth covers, made by Daniel Becker from Time As A Color Records. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Mario just got the test pressings for the SINGLE STATE OF MAN - LP. The LE PRE OU JE SUIS MORT - CD is out and costs 8 Euros postage paid worldwide. LE PRE will play at Ruum in Baden on January, 19th, together with RABBIT THEORY.

I finished writing my first play. The director at my theatre told me it was too perverted to be staged there (I completely agree), but I sent it in to a competition in Berlin, anyway.  I think the main point is that I finished that first draft in time. Which makes me a little proud as I'm normally the queen of procrastination.

I'm not planning any new releases. So, if you're in a band; now is a bad time to ask me if I want to work with you. Sorry.

Wow! Has it really been a month already since I last updated? 
Mr. Willis of Ohio recorded 5 new songs. We still need to add the vocals and mix the songs, but so far we are happy. The recording was free and the sound guy was nice. It's quite easy to make us happy...

The FOLLOWED BY 37 SECONDS - 7" should be available in a week. Simone just sent me the covers from Italy.

I already have the CD's for the LE PRE OU JE SUIS MORT - CD. Just waiting for the covers to be sent from the US printer. I think the CD will be ready in about 2 weeks! The LP version will be out on Denovali Records - but will take a little while longer...

So far neither the band nor the label (Clemontine Records) has sent me the COLOSSUS OF ROADS - 7". I'm reaching a point that I hardly ever reach: I am really pissed off. Guys, get your shit together, please!

Apparently the SINGLE STATE OF MAN - LP just went to the pressing plant. The Kontrapunkt - 7", too, should be finished soon.

As you can see to your left, the third press of the RAEIN / DAITRO - 10" is out now! It comes on lovely pink vinyl. We re-pressed 500.

The HIRO / BRUME RETINA - 10" is finally here. For fans of Gantz and Envy!
Loads of new stuff in the distro. The FOLLOWED BY 37 SECONDS should be done very, very soon. It will come in 8 different colored covers done by Michele of La Quiete!!

I'm really trying not to release too many records in the future!!! 

On that note; planned for later: a split 7" with ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF ACHING and KIAS FANSURI, LP's with HEAVEN IN HER ARMS, ENO and SINGLE STATE OF MAN, and probably some sort of post humous release by POSEIDON, a band I played in 400 years ago.

I'm pretty busy at my job. I'm working in 4 scripts at once and I'm even slower than usual with email. Sometimes it helps to send me a reminder email. Sometimes it doesn't.  I just have a lot on my plate right now and the label is not the top priority this month.

HEAVEN IN HER ARMS just recorded their full length, so did ENO. I also came across this great band called SINGLE STATE OF MAN from Germany who I'll be releasing a LP with soon.

MR.WILLIS OF OHIO will record 4 or 5 songs in the studio that's part of the theatre where I work. It might sound horrible. But it's free. If the sound is okay the songs will go on split records with HIRO and HER BREATH ON GLASS, if they sound less than good we will make a third demo CDR.

ENO is currently mixing their first full length CD. It will be released on Karate! Monkey! Super Fighter!!! and Synalgie Records so far. If any other labels are interested,please let me know!!!

There are no more SUIS LA LUNE -LP pre-orders available from me.  Please try ASSYMETRIE RECORDS in Germany or RELEASE THE BATS RECORDS in Sweden. Maybe they still have some copies. If you're in Asia try Arwith from KIAS FANSURI.  

The good news is that the MR. WILLIS OF OHIO - one-sided LP is as good as out.  Our drummer Ivo is silkscreening the blank sides as we speak (see pic above). They should be ready to send out in a couple of days! (7,00 EUR)
Some of the vinyl has a little bit of cat hair on it because he put it on the couch to dry. The cat says she's sorry.

I also just got a first batch of ANTITHESIS / KHERE - 7"s!!!  They look awesome! (3,50 EUR)

At the moment I don't want to plan any more records.  What I agreed to do, I will try to do.  I don't know at all HOW to do it, but I will try.  

Also, please don't ask me to set up shows for your band.  I know it sucks, but I honestly don't know where to do shows in Switzerland right now.  I also don't have time to do them or any energy left to take care of shows on top of everything else.  I'm sorry that nobody gives a shit about screamo music in Switzerland.  Even if I did shows only 10 people would show up.  And I'm tired of it.

I'm sorry that the LOVE.LIFE-CD Compilation is taking so long.  Some guy is mastering it for me for free and he did it a couple of months ago, except that there were a couple of mistakes.  Now I'm waitng for him to do it over and it's been months, so... Even I, the most laid-back person in the universe is getting a little annoyed at the moment. I hope I will get the master soon.  Please be a little more patient.

I got in some new records. The AMALTHEA - CD is in press and should be done in a couple of weeks.  And their 7" just sold out.  So unless I find another box in the old barnyard that record is gone.  The ANTITHESIS / KHERE should be done soon, the KIDCRASH - LP, too.  There were a couple of problems with the master, but they should be fixed by now! 

I also have ENO Shirts available now!!!

I really need to clean my office.  It's depressing to even sit here which maybe explains why I haven't updated this page in a while.

I have been really shit with emails in the last few weeks. I'm sorry.  If you're still waiting for an answer from me about something, please write again.  Like I expected I've been busy with work plus I'm helping a couple of people with their screenplays and things have just been adding up.

Got my tax bill the other day.  Apparently I "forgot" to pay 1300 Euros.  I want to die.

It looks like at least the SUIS LA LUNE - LP is progressing.  I also just got the test pressings for the THE BIRDS ARE SPIES THEY REPORT TO TREES - 7" (not the Single Series ones).

There will be pre-order versions of both the BIRDS - 7" and the SUIS LA LUNE - LP.  But please don't order yet.  Sign up for the newsletter and you will get an email about when we are ready to take pre-orders.  Okay?

And I added another release to the KARATE! MONKEY!  SUPER FIGHTER!!! roster.  It's ENO's second demo and it's even cooler than the first one.

I don't know when the AMALTHEA - CD or LP will go to press.  I'm still waiting for the artwork. 
The KIDCRASH - LP will also take a little while longer.
The MR. WILLIS OF OHIO - 7" might never come out.  There were so many technical problems and such high costs already that these 4 songs maybe only be released on a CDR sometime.  We don't know yet, but I have little hope this record will ever be released. 

January, 26th
Yeah, I guess I can't stop myself: Another APE (#32) release is planned. (Am I insane or what?)  It will be a 7" with a Swedish band called FOLLOWED BY 37 SECONDS OF HAPPINESS. This will be a split release with Simone Secchiero from Blessed Hands Records.

On the 22nd I had some friends and family people over which was very nice.  The highlight of the evening was when my mom set her hair on fire trying to flambé the rum-soaked mangos.  I literally had to smack her in the head to extinguish the flames.  Where's that camera when you need it?  Sigh...

I'm also getting a lot of requests from bands who want me to release their album or co-release their stuff with other labels and generally I would say yes to a lot of them.  The problem is that I will start a new job in January.  A job that will be very important for my future and I'm extremely hesitant right now to immerse myself in even more projects.  I still have to deal with the Single Series, Amalthea, Suis La Lune, Kidcrash (great material by the way!!!) and Le Pré Ou Je Suis Mort.  So, I think that in the imminent future I will say no to almost any project that's coming my way. Sorry about that.  Don't take it personally!!

The APE CD compilation is starting to really get together.  I have about 20 songs so far and I hope I will get the rest soon.  DAITRO will be part of it, too, with an unreleased song.  That makes me EXTRA happy!

I'm working on a re-press of the FUNERAL DINER - Difference of Potential -CD.  I will have a cardboard cover and look extra nice.  Also trying to get the RAEIN / DAITRO - 10" re-press done.

It looks like LE PRE OU JE SUIS MORT will soon give me their recording for their CD!  Please check them out - they are such a fantastic band!

Last but not least:  it's maybe worth noting that I love to carry demos in my mailorder.  So, if you're in a band and just released a demo please get in touch and I will buy some off you (or preferably trade with you).  

MR. WILLIS OF OHIO is still waiting for the final mix of our new songs.  Once we get that from the studio I will send in a 7" right away.  We've already got the covers and stuff worked out, so that record shouldn't come too long to come out (hopefully).  
The rest of the songs will go on a split 10" with I NOT DANCE (Austria).  That record will be released by Ralph / From A Strangers Hands Records!

HER BREATH ON GLASS will take over AM I DEAD YET's space in the Single Series.  I will get their recording very soon.  The Marc Antony-7" is ready now.  I just need to put them together, but if you have a subscription, you should get that record soon-ish
